Pentabus in association with SCRIPT are collaborating with two Irish new writing theatre companies: Druid and Fishamble as well as the Riksteater in Sweden. We are in the process of setting up a number of writer placements and exchanges. More details to follow.

Leaving Romania to make it rich abroad, Madalina finds herself working in a Dublin kebab shop. Fortunately her boyfriend has a better prospect. She'll be broadcast across the world and watched by thousands. It's a new start and surely things will never be as bad as back home.

Collaboration with U.S.A. playwright Brooke Berman on our ongoing 'Insomnia' project. Ghost River, a new writing company from Canada, who we are hosting whilst they tour their award winning show Mesa around the U.K.

White Open Spaces toured to Stockholm, Sweden autumn 2006.

Collaboration with Teatro Regional da Serra do Montemuro, a company based in the mountains of Northern Portugal. Our bilingual production Lobo Wolf toured locally there and nationally in the UK.

Participation in the Shropshire/ Punjab Exchange. Pentabus produced a community play in a ruined palace in the foothills of the Himalayas (picture left).


Pentabus is a member of IETM and regularly attends their meetings including Ghent, Helsinki, Istanbul and Lisbon. ietm
